Pamela is treasurer of the VRA BC Board of Directors. She has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sociology and worked as a Probation Officer for almost thirty years. She has now retired from government service and is working as a rehabilitation consultant in Victoria, BC. She is also working as a certified travel agent, hosting a women’s travel club.
Pamela has been a strong advocate for women for most of her adult life. She has started and run a women’s shelter; police-based victim assistance program and was the Executive Director of a social service agency providing counselling and programs to families, women, children and violent men. She was also awarded a medal from the Queen for her work in making changes to case management policy and practices in the Province of BC, specializing in working with women and girls.
