Certificate for Career Development Professional
Course Location – Langara College; Broadway Campus (Vancouver)
The certificate program consists of nine courses and two workplace placements. Courses may be taken individually or as part of the Certificate program. In order to receive the certificate, students must successfully complete all required courses and practicum placements. There will be no refund granted one week prior to the start of the program and the PD level 1 training due to material/courseware being ordered. Must attend all 3 days to be eligible to write the PD Certification exam on the 3rd day.

- Career Planning and the Role of Assessment
- Work Search Skills and Employment Development
- Roles of Facilitation and Job Finding Club
- Proposal and Grant Writing

- Personality Dimensions® Level 1 training (course is eligible for Canada Grant funding)
- Workplace Practicum (2 placements – 4 weeks)
The program follows the Canadian Standards and Guidelines for Career Development Practitioners.
